Majolica tile from Triana
Very nice majolica tile in excellent condition, made in Triana, Seville first half of the 17th century. Very bright glaze, thumb mark to left side of the tile were the maker put his thumb in the wet clay before glazing the tile. Beatifull colours. Sides slightly cut, especially to back. Similar tile is in the Carranza collection and in the collection of the V&A museum, bnt not in this condition!
